About Saint Luke
St. Luke (active 50 A.D.) was one of the four Evangelists. Since the 2nd century he has been regarded as the author of the Third Gospel and its sequel, the Acts of the Apostles. Tradition and one text of St. Paul's (Colossians 4:14) testify that Saint Luke was a trained physician, and painted the first icons of the Mother of God.

It is not only a wonderful opportunity for all of us to meet our Orthodox brothers and sisters and come together as one united Orthodox Church but also to serve God as the One Undivided Body of Christ!
